UPDATED 3/1/08: Magnum is a very energetic, 16 month old puppy boy. His person was not able to care for him due to his health problems. Magnum has been given a clean bill of health. He is underweight most likely due to his high energy. He is on a high calorie diet to help put on some weight. He is house trained and crate trained. He is very playful, happy, loving and knows commands such as down, lay down, sit, give paw, high five. He is doing better but needs to work on his listening skills, like "come" and "no". He came from a home with small children and a cat. He currently lives with children and dogs but likes to chase the cat. He loves to play with the other dogs. He needs a strong and very patient male or female owner to keep him under control. He loves to play with balls and chew toys. He does not like loud noises such as the vacuum cleaner or blow dryer. Also, he does not like fire, smoke, or anything similar to something burning (like the space heater). Magnum is bit overprotective so he needs to be carefully introduced to visitors. Also, he loves to chase his tail and the beam of a flashlight or sun reflection.
