Macy
is a smaller shepherd, 1-2 years old and she did excellent
on her temperament test. It included petting, scruff,
paws, ears, teeth, hugging, tail, tug toy, rawhide/pig's
ear and cats. When tested with a loose cat she did well
and backed away like she was a little scared. When tested
with dry food it was tough to get her to release her head
from the food bowl but she would eventually release, and
she did not mind the fake hand in oraround the bowl. When
tested with wet food it was tough to get her to release
her head from the bowl but it could be done. She did not
mind the fake hand in or around the food bowl. She was
playful when dog on dog tested with a female shepherd
and a male corgi/basset/shepherd mix. She was good when
tested with a female beagle. She walks well on a leash
and knows the command 'sit.'. She is very loving but can
be shy at first. She is rated as low energy. Macy has
been diagnosed with megaesophagus and her meal times will
require some extra time and care.
