Jenny is a sable German Shepherd weighing 65lbs. Her estimated date of birth is July 2007/2008. Jenny is very smart and seems housetrained already. She loves walks and is great on a leash. She gets along well with most dogs, but has had issues with some female dogs. Jenny has a high prey drive so no cats or other small pets for her. Although she is not as food motivated as most dogs, she is still a fast learner and is obedient even without a treat to offer. Jenny is a fence climber and an intelligent problem solver. She easily climbs chain link and also uses other objects to help her jump fences. She will need a 6 ft. privacy fence for off-leash time and should always be supervised. She was rescued from a NW Missouri puppy mill in July 2010. Although she is comfortable in familiar environments and will greet people one-on-one, she is uncomfortable and overwhelmed in crowds and unfamiliar places. She need a quiet place away from distractions to meet new people and may then require a few hours before she trusts them enough to willingly approach.
