Lovely Comet is a wonderful family dog and is a 6 year old German shepherd mix. She likes cuddling on the couch (yes, she is allowed on the furniture but not the beds), playing tug of war or catch, getting petted, hard bones or kongs with treats inside, going on walks and running, chicken and jelly beans. She dislikes the mail person, umbrellas, the wind (scares her), the rain (doesn't like getting her fur wet), baths, getting her nails cut, squirrels and other small animals. For those of you who know Comet, she can be very fiesty. She is a very social dog and loves company. She gets overly excited when new people come over, but settles down quickly. When alone with just the family she is very calm. She is very loving, cuddly, and sweet, but also has a mean bark which scares strangers or people approaching the house. Comet has been trained and knows all the basic commands, She is excellent with children of all ages- very patient and tolerant.
